Preview of the next version of Email Parser for Windows

You can download a preview of the next release of Email Parser here. It has the latest fixes and some partially implemented new features. Please, note that it has not been tested as much as the current released version (the one available clicking at “Download the Windows app” button at the top right corner).

The changes since the last release are the following:

  • [Fix] Office 365 email sources can now work with emails under sub-folders. Previously, only the root folders (inbox, sent, spam etc) were available. Now, any sub-folder that the user creates (inbox/processed emails, folder/subfolder…) is working as well.
  • [New] Passwords can now be visibile instead of hidden with asterisks when the user clicks on a button on the right of the password field. Previously, when a password was entered it was always hidden.
  • [New] When receiving the emails from a folder in your computer, if moving an email fails because other program is using the same file, the name of this program is now shown. Previously, the generic error “The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process” was shown.
  • [Fix] On the list of available emails under an email source, the button to save the email as an eml file was not working since the 6.3 release. This is working again.
  • [Fix] On the list of available emails under an email source, when button to save the email as an eml file is clicked, a suggested file name for the email file is given. On older versions this was blank and the user had to always enter the name of the file in the save dialog.
  • [New] The left panel now shows an animation (spinning wheel) on the application startup.
  • [Fix] C# Script Action Run() method was not correctly importing the existing email.
  • [Fix] Google Sheet spreadsheet delete button was not working. It is working now.
  • [Fix] The “processing log” tab under the email source was not showing the last email log correctly and sometimes it was not being updated if the selected email was being processed.
  • [Fix] The action “Write to TXT” was not saving the text file path.
