When parsing Outlook 2010 folders, if an email has a body longer than 4000 characters, the Email Parser 3.0 aborts with error "Error.@1:String Truncation:max=4000".

So many emails are longer than 4000 characters, the program should not abort. How do I fix this?
Note from the Official support: This answer is not completely correct (although thanks a lot for helping Mohamad) The error is caused by a bug in the 3.0 version. See the next post for the fix.

Greetings,

It seems you're parsing to a SQL Server Database.
If I am correct, please check the table you're inserting the data to, you may have set the field datatype where you're inserting the body to "nvarchar(4000)", instead, it should be "nvarchar(max)" (if you're using SQL Server 2005 or above), or to ntext (if you're using SQL Server 2000).

Please note, that you should change the stored procedure parameter datatype too, in case you're using stored procedure to insert your data.

Hope this helps you.

Best regards,
Mohamad McHaimech
