I upgraded from 1.3 to 3.4 (uninstall old - install new) - and now getting this error in Event Viewer when trying to run (and the gui doesnt open):

ok - I figured this out.

Eventhough the error was reporting .NET2 (and 3.5 was already installed) - I fixed the problem by downloading and installing .NET 3.5 SP1

the gui now appears
